InstaGopher — Brand Guidelines
Nassau, Bahamas
Client
InstaGopher is a grocery and liquor delivery service built specifically for US tourists staying at Nassau's premium resorts — Atlantis, Baha Mar, and private vacation rentals. Visitors arrive without transportation, without local knowledge, and without time to spend finding a supermarket. InstaGopher solves it in minutes — order online, delivered directly to your door. The brand needed to feel effortless, trustworthy, and vacation-ready — signalling convenience to a tourist who has never heard of the service before and needs to trust it immediately.
Process
A delivery brand targeting tourists has one job in the first three seconds — look like it belongs in the same world as the resort they just checked into. InstaGopher's early identity was functional but forgettable. It didn't signal the premium convenience experience the product actually delivers. Before touching the guidelines, I audited the competitive landscape — every delivery service operating in Nassau and the broader Caribbean tourist market. The white space was clear: every competitor looked utilitarian. InstaGopher had the opportunity to look like a concierge service, not a courier. The guidelines were built around that single insight — every colour rule, typographic hierarchy, photography direction, and tone of voice principle reinforces one feeling: effortless luxury for the tourist who just wants it handled. The result is a 30+ page system that works equally well on a resort key card insert as it does on a mobile app screen.
